A Step In The Right Direction, Sneakers Finding Hotspots
A Step In The Right Direction or ASRD in short, is a pair of sneakers to help you find that very hot Wi-Fi spot. Designed by mstrpln and Ubiq boutique, the footwear will show the signal strength in LED-style on the shoes.
The ASRD sneaker is equipped with an integrated wireless internet detection unit embedded under the flap of the left shoe. Once the pressure sensitive insole is activated, the unit scans the surrounding area for Wi-Fi signals and displays the result through LEDs.
Be sure to look in front and not your shoes when crossing the road.
