nOtbOt, Play-By-Itself Video Game System

by Patrick on October 10th, 2007

nOtbOt02.gifThe nOtbOt is a video gaming system that utilizes force feedback (used in rumbling gaming controllers of today) to control itself. The system’s controller in turn moves without anyone touching it.

The installation consists of a hacked up human-computer interface in which the feedback system, originally intended to provide tangible interaction for a human player, is now used as input data to control a ‘first-person’ videogame.

It’s pretty a video game system that plays itself.
