Sony is going to release a lower specs 40GB PS3.

Sony has released a ’stripped down’ PS3 before - the 20GB model - which, in addition to a smaller hard drive, came minus WiFi and flash card slots.

i have the 80 gb ps3 and hate it. rumor has it sony is coming out with a 230 gb model in fall 2008. i will buy that. however, price will be between 700-799.

a 230GB ps3 ? it better be the 60GB on Sterioids. not this emulator software to play ps2 and ps1. i really depend on sony’s new systems to play my old games. also would be awsome if it had 2 or more rear usb’s. and 4 or more in the front.
