Sony has confirmed that the PSP can’t go to the full 333MHz processor speed when its Wi-Fi is enabled. The handheld can only run at 222MHz clock speed during network play even after the latest 3.50 firmware upgrade but Sony promises to look into this issue and will keep PSP fans update.
