Wii Fighting Stick, Finally A Decent Joystick To Play Street Fighter II
The Fighting Stick Wii or Wii Fighting Stick from Japanese peripheral maker, Hori, is a Wii joystick that I look forward to. For many agonizing months, I’ve been using the Wii classic controller to play Wii virtual console games such as Street Fighter and Bare Knuckle. There’s simply no arcade feel. Adding a joystick such as this Wii Fighting Stick will greatly increase my chances in winning fights against Chun Li.
The joystick acts like the classic controller, just plug it into Wiimote and it’ll be at your mercy. All the buttons (x, y, a, b, L, R, ZL, ZR) of the classic controller are mapped out on the Fighting Stick. Hit the turbo controls on the top and you can just simply hold a button to fire or hit 20 shots per second. Of course, the Home, Select and Start buttons are intact. Going for 5544 yen ($47) and debuts in Japan in late August.
