Nintendo Wii Launches in Australia

The Nintendo Wii has launched in Australia, after mega-successful launches in US and Japan. Events were held, lines were formed and Wiis were bought. However, the number of Wiis that was shipped to Austraila was not disclosed.

At the midnight launch at Sydney’s EB Games outlet, one Aussie Nintendo nerd fanboy exclaimed:

“I feel like a kid again!”

Another fanboy added:

“Once you’re a Nintendo fanboy, you’re a Nintendo fanboy for life.”

I can’t agree more.

I don’t hav a Wii cos the distributor in Singapore sucks via The Sydney Morning Herald
