The Max Media Dock for Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite can turn your Nintendo handhelds into a robust portable media player.

Here are some of the nifty features…
- Able to access and store content via a CF (Compact Flash) card (up to 8GB)
- Max Media Player is included to allow you to navigate on a browser interface with your stylus
- USB 2.0 connection to connect your Media Dock and PC, just drag and drop what you want from the PC, DS or DS Lite

I’m afraid not, you still need the original web browser kit to surf.

one slight small flaw, you can’t fast forward or rewind a movie, so if you are watching a movie, you need to commit 2 hrs or never see the end, ever…

No the DS can’t play media, unlike a PSP the DS’s soul purpose is being a cheap$ and simple portable game system no extras like web browser or media player.

Go to http://us.codejunkies.com/mpds/support.htm
the latest version (at this time is 1.22) and the video converter. They explain well enough how to set it up. Those two take care of video and mp3’s for the games just search up a DS homebrew site.
I know this isn’t much but hope it helps..
