From Nintendo Revolution to Nintendo Wii

by Patrick on May 2nd, 2006

I’ve guessed that you’ve got the news that the name for NIntendo next-gen console has changed its name from Revolution to Wii. I welcome the change because I can…

  1. Type fewer letters, from Revolution to Wii means I can type seven letters fewer
  2. Get the chance to change my Category’s name from Nintendo Revolution to Nintendo Wii as I like changing names but don’t have the opportunity to do so
  3. Remember it. Wii is defintely easier to remember than the word Revolution except maybe you will mispell it as We, Wi, WWii (World World 2), Wee, Weeeee! or just draw out the gaming platform in its entirety to show people what you mean
  4. Form another word that can be used for Scrabble
  5. Show my mummy that I’ve invented new words from Wii - Wiis (plural), Wiing, Wiiking or Wiiable
  6. Search Wii in Google

Lame? Don’t think so. As I have thought of the above reasons for a few nights (a few sleepless nights to be exact, sacrifcing my playtime, blogtime and zzztime). In case, you really think the reasons are lame, you might want to speak your thoughts on this Wii thingy.

Before you head on to do anything, here’s the Nintendo Wii commercial, I promise is more than just, erm, Wii.
